Product Design Internship
At X, I designed for various initiatives across X Premium, Monetization, Search, Safety, Ads, etc.
I was X's first-ever and only design intern hire and also one of their 3 product designers (company-wide) from October 2024 to January 2025.
Given the team's size, I worked across number of projects you can find out below –
I participated in the Explore Tab redesign initiative which was Search Team's largest initiative of 2024.
As the only designer, I explored different design concepts & closely collaborated with leads and engineers in testing via dogfooding – it was rolled out to 2% of iOS users.
I designed and shipped the PCF label on X, a profile-level visual signal/indicator that makes parody, fan, and commentary accounts unmistakably unaffiliated with the entities they reference.
I redesigned concepts for business.x.com and careers.x.com to create more structured and on-brand external-facing experiences.
I designed and shipped icons for premium users for Christmas and Japanese New Year campaigns.
